This is a fantastic long weekend break in Cornwall which has been the home of British surfing since the 1960s. There are a number of fabulous restaurants pubs and a quaint harbour – all within walking distance of the accommodation for you to explore on Friday evening.Your day will start on Saturday with a leisurely self-service breakfast where you can feast on muffins toast bagels and organic muesli with lashings of freshly squeezed juice and Fairtrade tea and coffee. At apx. 10am you will be picked up and taken to the beach by your dedicated surf instructor who will have already checked which beach has the best conditions. Onboard he or she will have your boards and suits [although guests are more than welcome to bring their own equipment should they wish]At the beach safe storage will be provided for your property and you will receive two hours coaching before having a break to have lunch and chill out before having another two hours coaching. Travelling to and from the beaches takes you through the varied landscapes of Cornwall from the rugged rural beauty of Zennor to the dramatic cliff drops around Sennen and Lands End. Paragliding is about as close as you can possibly get to the ultimate dream of free flight! The Elementary Pilot Certificate (EPC) is the first qualification recognised by the BHPA and upon successful completion you will be qualified to fly solo under the supervision of an instructor! The course is great fun and you will learn a massive amount about the equipment safety weather and most importantly….flying! The follow up course to the EPC is the CPC after which you will be qualified to fly independently.Course Content : The course normally takes around 4 days – two days on the lower slopes of a hill and two working your way to the top.
